From 2007 to 2010, Yesterday’s Tomorrow directed global design for Alpha Industries, guiding the evolution of one of America’s most iconic military heritage brands.

Founded in 1959 in Knoxville, Tennessee, Alpha Industries built its legacy producing military garments including the M-65 field jacket for the U.S. Armed Forces. Drawing from the brand’s extensive archive, the studio reinterpreted classic silhouettes through a refined, fashion-forward lens.
We sourced dead-stock materials for limited-edition capsules and developed proprietary fabrications in collaboration with historic textile innovators Gore-Tex and Cordura — merging military authenticity with elevated performance textiles.

Partnering closely with Alpha Industries’ CEO and global merchandising team, we refreshed the product line through elevated fabrications, refined fits, and a more cohesive brand voice.
The limited-edition collections expanded Alpha’s visibility within the fashion space, helping reposition the brand beyond traditional military surplus and setting the foundation for the luxury collaborations it is widely recognized for today.
